Aiyappan Temple, Sidhapudur
This temple is just 1km from the Gandhipuram Bus Stand and nearer to the new Omni bus stand. The temple is managed by Aiyappa Seva Samithi.
Moolavar Aiyappaswami was installed by Kerala Aachara Thanthrik method.
Murugan, Vinayagar, Guruvayurappan sannathis are also there. During the months of Karthigai to Thai, large number of devotees starts from here to Sabarimala with their Irumudi.
Sree Ayyappa Temple situated is in Sree Ayyappa road, Sidhapudur, Coimbatore. The temple was built in 1976 by the Trust called Sri Dharma Sastha Baktha Jana Sabha.
The trust wanted to build an Ayyappa temple in Coimbatore similar to that of the one in Sabarimala. And their wish was realised.
The poojas and other religious rituals are observed similar to the fashion in Sabarimala. The temple is open from 5.00 AM to 9.00 PM.
